Isn’t being a parent (of dogs) a fun experience. Lets see, we’ve had holiday pies and roasts eaten, siding torn off the house, and the hind quarter of a deer deposited on our front porch by these lovely creatures. The best story is when Gail took the kids to a local baker to pick up a specially made cake for a friend. This was not a Costco or Albertson cake, but a rather expensive work of art. The baker was quite proud of it. Gail gather up the kids for her next stop. When she returned to the van, she found the cake she so carefully strapped into the seat, smashed into a heap by your know who, the family dog, who had snuck into the car earlier. He had a habit of doing that when he thought he was going to be left behind. Actually I think the kids had something to do with it, but they never have admitted to it. Gail said the worse part was when she returned to the bakery and had to witness the dejected look on the baker’s face when he saw the remains of his creation. So, why is it that we have these creatures in our livesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30518121.post-53703396596581406982007-12-17T22:49:00.000-08:002007-12-17T22:49:00.000-08:00When I was in junior high our dog, Scuppers, got o...When I was in junior high our dog, Scuppers, got on top of our nice dining room table and peed on it...count your blessings.Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04388854976158590592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30518121.post-61945003765603281212007-12-17T22:11:00.000-08:002007-12-17T22:11:00.000-08:00Ahh...we feel your pain at our house right now. :-...Ahh...we feel your pain at our house right now. :-) We are currently teaching the girls that they MUST push in their chairs at the table before they leave the kitchen or else we find a puppy ON TOP of said table scarfing down whatever I haven't cleaned up yet. Gotta love those dogs! At least mine isn't big enough yet to get to the counters. Oh, then I'd really be in a world of hurt. :-) Good luck with that!Shaylahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12854126432564431357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30518121.post-85094759385224651962007-12-17T20:34:00.000-08:002007-12-17T20:34:00.000-08:00We already have Bear that is constantly begging fo...We already have Bear that is constantly begging for our human food!
