Picture Perfect

Easter was especially meaningful this year as my children were finally able to grasp the true meaning of this special day. The pride I felt at witnessing my children's sweet spiritual journey was almost more than I could bear. The sacrifice, the resurrection, the wonderful gift they have been given, all of those emotions were captured in this beautifully reverent picture snapped as we headed to church:

Ok, so there's always next year, right? They did look wonderful and it was a really sweet day for all of us. I hope yours was just as special.

You are so funny!

The kids look great. I'm impressed that you found a dress for Sienna to match so well with Hannah's. And why oh why is Spencer like 8 feet tall already? Seriously, I think that boy has a growth spurt every week!

Can't wait for next year's reverent photo with baby boy J included ;)

I love the dresses for the girls, they all look really great. Maybe in a couple of years our kids will get what easter is really about but for now we will keep trying to get them to understand and then deal with the sugar rush throughout sacrament.

I like the bright Easter clothes. It's a nice switch from the typical pastels. Very chic.

As I was reading your post, I was thinking to myself, my kids were crazy on Easter, wish they could have experienced a "spiritual journey." I'm so glad I scrolled down to see the picture!

They look adorable!

Those are some darling, DARLING kids. But what the heck is up with Spencer being like 6'2"? How did that happen?
