Have You Ever...Part II

...Been so excited for a trip that you only manage 3 hours of sleep before departure?

..Behaved as a giddy schoolgirl to see your oldest friend sitting across the aisle from you?

...Marveled and thanked the good Lord for your husband's ability to charm everyone in site, especially when he does it in their own language?

...Stood in awe at the view from the front door of your suite?

...Stood in awe at the view from the patio of your suite?

...Been served pool side?

...Seen two beautiful sting rays gliding along the bottom of the ocean right below you?

...Paid $6 for the world's smallest ice cream cone?

...Been completely at ease and slightly terrified by your water taxi rides?

...Seen the beauty of Land's End up close?

...Jumped off a 25 foot cliff into the Sea of Cortez?

...Been called "mahogany" lovingly by your friends as your Puerto Rican skin works overtime?

...Marveled at the power and beauty of the Pacific Ocean?

...Snorkeled among hundreds of fish as they eat tortilla chips out of your husband's hand?

...Swam through a smack of jellyfish and been stung too many times to count?

...Gone from being a person who rarely sweats to one who drips sweat so profusely it's disturbing?

...Woken up to a gigantic cruise ship anchored in the harbor and wished all the"tourists" would just go away?

...Walked the hottest and most miserable mile and a half ever and barely lived to tell about it?

...Met your new friend Frida and been in awe of her strength, agility, power and gentleness?

...Laid on the belly of a 600 lb dolphin and gone for ride?

...Sung the praises of all that's good in the world at the sight and air-conditioning of a Dairy Queen?

...Eaten dinner with your feet in the sand?

...Gone for a swim in a hotel pool that, even though wasn't technically yours, couldn't be resisted?

...Loved whoever invented "misters?"

...Increased your salt intake by say, 400%, and loved every single bite?

...Been so completely travel compatible with another couple that it's almost scary?

...Been completely worked by a game of Settlers of Catan?

...Conquered some pretty big fears and felt incredibly proud?

...Eaten an entire bucket of Costco Red vines in say, 4 days?

...Been more in love with your husband than ever before?

...Been inspired by the marriage of a dear friend?

...Felt overwhelming joy in a friendship that has spanned 31 years and been so humbled by the sure knowledge that your life wouldn't be the same without her?

...Already started planning the next adventure?

Me too.

I could not wait for you to post so I could see all of your pictures!! You look SO BEAUTIFUL in all of them. I LOVE your "mahagony" Puerto Rican skin!! Looks like your trip was amazingly fun. It's always way more fun when you have a fun couple to share it with. Can't wait to hear more about it.

OMG! How fun! It looks beautiful! YOU look BEAUTIFUL! I am soooo jealous. I can't believe you got to swim with dolphins!!! I've always wanted to do that. I'm so glad you loved it. It almost makes up for being away from the kids huh? AWESOME!

I love the big breath I can see you taking before you jump into the sea. I am seriously so impressed by that. I think I would have a heart attack. What an amazing trip it must have been.

Have you ever been so jealous you thought you might cry?
Have you ever wished so badly that you were small enough to fit into someone's suitcase?

I have.

So glad you had fun.

Looks amazing! Kaden and Brynnlee both are amazed at your jumping skills. They both asked if they could do that when they get bigger!! You're a total role model, who was sorely missed. :)

I have never seen so many smiles in any single post in all the world wide web! I am so happy for you guys. I totally loved the video of you two jumping. You could see the love:) The landscape was the picture of happiness, but paled in comparison to your happy quartet.

Wow, how lucky do I feel for being able to answer "yes" to almost all of those questions? (no one called me "mahogany", not even once.):)

What a sweet and completely honest summary of our fantastic trip.

I thank my lucky stars for you and can't wait to see what the next 31 years deal our way!
