A few weeks back I stumbled across some bunk beds at Costco that I thought were dreamy. My girls have been wanting bunk beds ever since we moved into this house (3 1/2 years ago) but I was never too keen on paying $800 or $900 for a decent set. This particular set at Costco was only $500 which I knew was pretty sweet since I've been looking at them for years. I put it out of my mind because $500 is still $500, right?
Three days later I was back at Costco (you'd think I'd plan better) and came across the beds once again. I glanced at the price tag and literally gasped when I saw they had been marked down to $400. Seriously! I called Brad at work and casually said I was going to buy some bunk beds for the girls, thinking he would talk me out of it and tell me I was crazy when he replied with "good idea!"
What? So not what I was expecting. I then spent the next 45 minutes debating and trying to figure out if he was serious or not (he assured me he was) when I finally bought the darn things and loaded them up.
And that's how my girls got a room redo.
Let me say that I loved their original room. I thought it was sweet and lovely and fitted their personalities perfectly. BUT, they didn't have much space and were running out of room as the things they've acquired get bigger and bigger. They are loving their new space and I'm loving all the room they've gained.

The change may not seem that dramatic in these pictures, but I assure you it's tremendous. And I can finally check this "to-do" off my list. Thanks Costco!

The beds look amazing and yes, that room seems huge now! So happy for your cute girlies!!
pretty much the same story here. been looking for beds, saw those, then went back and saw $399 and loaded them up! my girls are thrilled and it gives sooo much more space. plus, much more under-bed space for tubs.
they look great! yeah for a great deal!
I love your girls room! Claire's room is pink and green as well, I just love that color combo. And I love the bunk beds, they are so cute!
They look fabulous. Can't wait to see them in person. And once more, Kelly and I were right.
What a sweet little room. The boys are rocking bunks right now as well. I love the extra space, but I HATE changing the sheets on the upper bunk mattress. I'm sweating just thinking about it. And I thought I was the only one that stood for 45 minutes paralyzed by indecision.
I love those bunkbeds- classic, pretty, and a steal at 400 smackers! I bet the girls love 'em and love being able to spread out to play on the new spacious floor. Great job!!
The room looks great!
On a selfish side note, does that mean you have twin beds you need to sell? We need one here!
Their room is adorable! the bunk beds look very nice and solid - ya did good! I don't know how long you've had this header (since I haven't blogged for a while) but I love it!
