Meet My New Niece!

Isn't she gorgeous??? Miss Kayla Michelle, the beautiful daughter of my dear friend Christy and her awesome husband Liu, made her dramatic debut Friday, July 7th and 6 pm on the nose. Weighing in at a healthy 8 lbs and 3 oz, she is the picture of health and we all fell in love with her instantly. She has really long legs and HUGE feet just like her mother and loves to hear her daddy's voice. Christy was a champion, having hard-core contractions for over 6 hours before a c-section was deemed necessary. Mom feels great, dad is in love, and Kayla is the light of the world. I cant wait to teach her all the fun things this world has to offer: dance recitals, boating in the summer, late nights at Red Robin, movie nights, talking for hours about everything, a CHAPERONED senior trip to Hawaii. What a life she has waiting for her. I wonder if she likes older boys? I've got one handsome son...I could put in a good word for her. One thing's for sure: she will be bombarded with love her whole life. Aside from her immediate family, she has three aunties who will be there every step of the way. Welcome, sweeet Kayla. We love you more than you know.
