Today has been a good day.
I was able to fulfill carpool duty thanks to the good people at Lithia Dodge who were able to fix my van quickly.
I ran my errands and got everything I needed for Spencer's impending birthday party.
I joined Hannah on her preschool field trip to the local grocery store.
And here's where it gets funny:
The CANCER PATIENT informed me that I shouldn't be there and that I needed to be home resting. That I wasn't doing my body any good by being up and running around. That I needed to rest as much as possible so that I could continue on. Oh, and what could she help me with?
Um, seriously?
It cracked me up.
So I told her that I would stop doing stuff as soon as she did.
Yeah, that's what I thought.

Come on Karen, really. She isn't doing chemo so why shouldn't she run all your errands? I'll help you ship her back to crazy town...
Too funny! Was Ms. Kristen like, "Seriously! What are you ladies doing here?"
Lindsay....Ummmm, no, not surprised! These two women would never miss a function of there children! I needed all the help I could get today!
What did all the parents feed half of my students today for breakfast? They were CRAZY! Oh well, they were excited and having fun!
Vicky, the Yokes lady, is amazing and when I get back I will bring her in a nice juicy gift certificate!
You looked great today Karen! i can't wait to see this little Johnson babe!
SO FUNNY!
The song that comes to mind is "Ironic" by Alanis Morrisette.
O.k. someone help me out here. I am not on bed rest like Karen. I think you have been through alot. I do get the busy mom thing and that it is so hard to rest but seriously. Any by the way you look so good for being pergo. I hope things at your house calm down a little.
I'm not on bed rest, Ro, I'm just supposed to be "down as much as possible."
There's a HUGE difference between the two...
What a woman she is. I can believe that she would put your needs first before her own. She is just that type.
You both are just awesome. It's hard to be down as much as possible, when all of your kids are up and running around. It would be hard for sure.
Both of you gals are amazing and wonderful and totally unselfish. That being said, neither one of you had any business being at a preschool field trip! Especially one where the teacher needed all the help she could get.
You know, you both have friends. Friends like me who would do anything for you. Even go to your kids' preschool field trip.
Lecture over, but seriously, if you want plaster on your girl parts, you probably shouldn't be chasing 5 year olds around a grocery store.
I didn't chase after them.
I wobbled.
and that's why I love you.
