Our Three Day and The Days Ahead

My silly little husband. Looks like I have to change my password!

Someone called and said "I can't believe your husband is giving you such a hard time about losing weight!" and I thought, "huh???"

When I read it again, I could see her point, but Brad literally was shouting my accomplishment from the rooftops in good cheer. After a three and a half week plateau on the scale, he was as excited as me to see the numbers take a sudden drop. He is sweet like that.

In other news, we tried to take the kids to the pumpkin patch on Friday (hooray for no school!) but they weren't open yet. We also discovered that said pumpkin patch cost $9.50 to get into and so sadly, we will be pumpkining at a different patch this afternoon.

We also filled out kitchen with yummy cookies to go "Boo!" the neighbors with, but those cookies never made it out the door. So for all of my neighbors, which is funny if you know where I live, you have been spirit booed.

We had a yummy dinner with friends last night. I love good friends who are orphaned to this town like us and give us someone to spend Sunday evenings with. We laughed and ate and had kids running around the house at warp speed. Thanks guys! Can't wait until next weekend!

This week, I have some PTO stuff looming over my head, two field trips, one birthday party, scouts, gymnastics and the likes to get to, and I'm anxious to get it all done because she and her fabulous family are coming to visit and I can't wait! Time to plan the menu and brush up on my game playing skills. Oh, and stretching. I've got to win the stretching contest! Limber up Connor!

Have I mentioned that I love this time of year?

Karen, I think it's adorable that Brad was so proud of you, that he shouted it on the blog.

Hooray for some poundage lost. That is exciting. I love your Boo trying experience. Sounds like something that would happen at this house too. Good luck with your busy week.
