She's A Big Girl Now

After Brad frantically ran to Wal-Mart late Friday night with the kids in tow to buy more diapers, he kindly suggested Satruday morning that perhaps we should try potty training the Squish. He reasoned that since there was no school on Monday, he would be around for three whole days to get to Squish peeing like a big girl. I agreed, mainly because I'm cheap and hate buying diapers, and our odyessy began.

Let me tell you: I have been blessed ONCE AGAIN by the potty training Gods. Squish has followed suit with the other two kids and has taken to potty training like a fish to water. A peice of pie to ice cream. Me to a chocolate. You get the idea.

After an initial "accident" Saturday morning, we have been pee free here in our house. Even the looming idea of a 12 hour sleep at night has left us with clean sheets and panties fresh as a daisy. We made it through church, through movie watching and meal time, through the night, and through the doors of those who pee where they're supposed to. I am beyond thrilled.

I feel bad that I waited longer than I should have for she was clearly ready. But perhaps it's because I waited a bit that she is doing so well. Either way, me and her Dora panties are completely stoked.

Hooray for Dora that she can stay dry!

Yeah, I'm with Heather on hating this about you though....Somewhere along the line, you must have done something really nice to the potty training gods cuz they REALLY seem to like you!

Way to go Karen!(oh yeah, and Sienna!)

Hooray for Squish! Enjoy your new diaper free life, now go spend your hard earned moola on something more fun than pampers for a change.

I am so impressed...love that photo, and am nervous about trying this venture with my boys. Hope it goes as well as your has gone...but from what I hear, boys are harder than girls. I hope it goes better than that.
