Thanks To The Powers That Be

Yesterday, while dear Kelly was making cookies with my girls, the phone rang and one of Brad's principals was on the other line. We have gotten to be good friends and although she was initially looking for Brad, she kindly asked how I was doing. After explaining my latest situation and jokingly asking her if Brad could take a day or two off, we hung up.

Fast forward a few hours and Brad calls to tell me that this lady and another principal came into Brad's room to tell him to plan on making next Friday his last day as he was needed at home. They had already arranged a sub for him for the remaining two weeks of school and he was to be home helping me finish out this crazy pregnancy.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT????

I literally wanted to shout from the rooftops. And since Kelly is here this weekend, and my mom will be here as of Tuesday, I officially will have round the clock help until Baby Boy J makes his grand entrance.

I am incredibly blessed and so, so grateful.

But, WOW! what a HUGE blessing. I am so impressed they would take the initiative to do that for you. People amaze me when they do stuff like this!

I just did a big sigh of relief for you!! I'm feeling so inspired by the thoughtfulness of others.

You are so close, hang in there. Now maybe you really can get to that taking it easy.

Nice one Connor!

Kelly wants to make sure you put that Martini down long enough to scrub the toilets and do the laundry.

Oh, and put some clothes on for goodness sake!

That comment was clearly marked 'anonymous.' You don't know who I am, so I don't have to scrub toilets.

Maybe I'll put on a robe when I need to go out for more olives... Maybe.
