I was all set to sit down and write a post chronicling our pre-Christmas activities, including the raucous gathering of the Lfester's and their families (6 extra adults, 4 extra kids) and tell tales of harrowing car rides, men playing XBox and Settler's round the clock, cookie decorating with 8 kids 8 and under and a ton of yummy food and laughter but my husband just informed me that he accidentally deleted all the pictures off our camera and off the hardrive and now I'm heartbroken and don't really want to. (This also includes all picutres snapped from December 19th through yesterday but I'm trying not to think about it.) I so carefully documented our good times, thinking of the posting I would do, making sure to get people from their best angles and only be in pictures that were shot from the neck up, all to have them disappear into the cyber netherworlds. So, so sad. Lfester's (that's my new name for you three BTW) please email me pictures so that my posterity will know that once again we lived like queens and partied like rock stars. Rock stars with saggy parts and bags under their eyes, by rock stars nonetheless.
I miss the noise already and can't wait to see you all on my doorstep again. Loves to you. Oh, and Edward saves Bella so put the books down already...

That is awful. I have no doubt that you and your 3 chicks partied harty...well as much as you can party with 8 children anyway ;)
This is a cute picture!
Oh my, I'm so sorry about your pictures!
Love to hear about the Lfesters...All four of you are so beautiful and always a hoot. Rock stars have nothin' on you.
That is so sad, and one of the bad things about digital.
I hope you can gather enough pictures to capture what you've lost.
Lost pictures are a sad sad thing. A few years ago Donald accidentally erased our entire computer. I felt sick to my stomach about it. Now we back everything up about a gazillion times!
So sad about the pictures. I've had that happen too.
Rock it you guys look like you had a blast!
Yeah, when is that picture from anyway-does it say 2001? I look like a vampire, so pasty white. Anyway, I don't have any pictures. Sadly, I took them all with your camera. Oh, and Edward doesn't save her in the second book...get your facts straight and just read the darn book.
I am so glad you guys had such a great time.
I have to say that I am a little jealous of having great friends for that long. I have one that I have from H.S. :)
a. Michele, that picture is from two years ago.
b. I have tons o' pictures from Lfest weekend this year, so no fear!
c. Edward pretty much saves Bella in every single book... it's redundant and predictable, and that's why my crush is not on him but on Jacob the werewolf :)
Your pics are still on the hard drive (check the recycle bin, but then you probably already did). Eric got some software to retrieve pics from cards. He may still have it or it might be on Teresa's (my old) computer. I don't have it on this one.
Ok so I don't know who all the Lfesters are or what that means, but once again you crack me up. You are so dang witty! BTW- you are all beautiful! Great Picture! Sorry about the rest of them, the pictures I mean. That sux.... I cant' believe you still haven't finished the books! Come. On. Karen...
I think I would die if this happened to me.
So glad your friends have pictures for you to steal from all of the festivities.
there is nothing like a good set of friends! PS- you look so beautiful!
