Yes! To all of the above. Take a deep breath, know your children are loved and taken care of and ENJOY your vacation. All will be well when you return!!!
As for the great things to wear... There are skirts, very similar to your cabana skirt at Ann Taylor Loft right now for $20! They have black, brown, cream and white. I immediatly thought of you!!

As we Sorenson' get set to embark on a 2 and a 1/2 week vacation of our own in 2 days I am having these exact same thoughts....minus leaving the kids behind....I am not ready for that yet. For that matter, I am not sure I'll ever be able to leave Elisabeth behind. Seriously. I haven't even left her with a sitter to go to a movie. She and I are connected at the hip.

No. I just become obsessed with my plane crashing during take off or landing... But, I didn't have magical flip-flops from Target to protect me. Heaven-sent, they will let no harm come to you.
Yes to all of those things. I am more than mildly obsessive when it comes to disaster scenarios, so I feel your pain. But you will have such a deep cleansing breath sort of vacation, that you will come back all new and shiny for your kids to play with. Have so much fun!

Actually yes! Tomorrow Jeremy and I are leaving for a week completely kid free. I'm so excited and at the same time, I'm so worried! I've never left my baby overnight before and I hope he will be okay. Grandma is coming today to watch the kids, so I know they are in good hands, but ugh! I'm so worried!!!
