What Happens When You Put The Non-Touchy Feely Asian In The Middle

(Tiffani, Megan, Lindsay, Camie and Me and my 80's hair...I don't know what happened.)

She literally recoils in terror. But the rest of us couldn't resist.

The five of us managed to escape to the big city for a brief but lovely 36 hours this past weekend. We laughed until we cried, ate some of the best food around, and stayed at the coziest B&B on the Westside. Seriously, my mom is a rock. star. when it comes to entertaining and she treated us like we were at a spa all weekend long. If you and your girlfriends or husbands need a quick weekend away, contact me. The food is to die for, the accommodations are perfect, the location is divine and the rates are unbelievable!

I was the most successful shopper of the weekend scoring the best winter coat on the planet and some boots that make me giddy. Tiffani came in a close second with a ton of cheap maternity clothes and if you know Tiffani, you know that nothing makes her happier than looking good. Which she always does. Megan spent the most as usual, but got an adorable purse that we all coveted for the rest of the weekend. Camie bought shirts that had color! and pattern! and we all celebrated. Poor Lindsay came away with very little although she definitely put her back into it and tried her darndest. Apparently when your legs are little more than bones covered with a thin layer of skin, knee high boots are problematic as they literally fall down as you walk. Who knew? A problem I will unfortunately never have.

Thanks ladies for heading west with me. And a bigger thanks to our families who took the reigns on childcare so we could have fun. We loved every second.

Just between midget friend and Amazon girl... You could have used a differnt picture, atleast one that didn'y make me look PG. Some people might ask if I am and I would have to say "WHAT ARE LOOKING AT!"

You all look beautiful -- how fun! But, let's talk about you, Karen: You look STUNNING!!! You look like you did in high school -- holy thinness and illumination! I'm so proud of your confidence and your health.

The best thing about the top picture is the fact that we're all wrapping our arms around each other, while Lindsay's arms are glued to her side and it looks like she wants nothing more than to break away from the madness that is touching other people...so funny!
