Here's one of the many dumb things about being me: I've been working for the past 4+ weeks and have a little bet going with my co-worker to see if we can get through the entire job without repeating an outfit. Pieces, sure, but not an entire outfit. If I had been prepared, I would have some 20+ outfits to show for WIWW but because I'm not prepared (read: my camera stinks, my photog is still half asleep in the morning, I literally cannot eek out a few extra minutes to get it done, etc) I have nothing to show for it. LAME.
But then it dawned on me that I could show you what I want to be wearing, which would be better than nothing.
So we'll try that for awhile.
I pulled this outfit together on Polyvore and then pinned it to my boards on Pinterest. Here's what I think: Polyvore is to peanut butter as Pinterest is to chocolate. They are both completely addicting and delightfully fun and I love pulling pieces that I normally wouldn't go for. This look screams spring date night to me and I'm thinking you'll agree. Or maybe you won't. Lunch with girlfriends? Shopping with Mom? I love that's it's feminine but comfy, flowy but structured. I know, I know, I should have a job in fashion with lingo like that.
I'm working on it.
You should really follow me around Pinterest-land because, well, I'm cool and you're cool and I'm thinking we should be pals. Agreed?
Interested in what you see? Here you go. And you're welcome.
Linking up with Pleated Poppy and others who actually get dressed in cute stuff AND take a picture of it.
