Today I Am A Good Mommy Because....

...I sent Hannah to school without shoes on because I am sick of her leaving them all over the house and never knowing where they are, especially since each kid has their own cubby for shoes, backpacks and coats.
Do you think it will work?
Or am I really just that mean?
As she skipped into school to show off her stocking feet, I realized my plan may have backfired. More to come....

That is awesome Karen! I don't think it's mean at all. We've been having similar issues at our house, not just with Kendle either (how do I get my husband to remember where he puts things?) and I am at my wits end with the "where are my" questions. Can't wait to here more.

Okay - I just might have to do this! I can hear the phone call from his teacher, "Mrs. Red's Mom... um... Red showed up today without shoes. Were you aware of this??" Me: "yep."... teacher "oh, well, then, um okay... " sounds like a good one to me!!

hee hee! Ummm, she didn't really care that she didn't have shoes. So I think it did backfire! 1/2 the kids stayed inside to cut and color ornaments during "recess" so she didn't miss out because of being shoeless. Sorry I carried her to the car, didn't realize it was a lesson to be learned! :)

This happened to me once with Tia. She kept calling me a poo-poo head so I told her I was going to wash her mouth out with soap if she did it again, well she did so I put a few squirts of hand soap in her mouth and she started blowing bubbles with it........nice! Gotta love being the mom!

You are a constant source of entertainment for me! Hannah is going to have the best stories to tell when she gets older from her childhood.

Goof for you, Karen. I always threaten things like this, but you actually did it! I admire that!
