In all seriousness, I'm impressed that you took the leap to take on this mammoth position. I have no doubt your kids and all the kids at that school will benefit greatly by having you leading the PTO. You will be great!
I love how you were willing to step up when no one else wanted to. It shows what a great person you are. I think PTO will be great this year. It's lots of work right now but then I think it will get better because we are going to get people to support/join PTO this year.
Seriously Karen, you can do this. Yeah, there will be times that are gonna suck, but it will all work out. And yes, I will be more supportive this year. If not, you can staple MY head to the floor!

Oh wait... you do! Or any other kids at home to take care of... oh, but you do! You crazy person! Have fun with it! and DELEGATE!!!
I think you will be so awesome. I went to one meeting at the end of last year after I stopped working and there was like no one there and everyone was like who are you. I am making it a goal to attend more meetings this year and volunteer more. You can hold me to it and call me if my name is not on a list!!

I was feeling way overwhelmed that I was elected PTO treasurer, until I read this. I understand the feeling. If anyone can do this, it's you.
