SFTC, Day 3--AUCTION CLOSED

I'm so excited for Miss Hilary...her generous heart landed her that complete Scentsy package and I know she's going to love it. Thanks Hilary!

And to Amy...you rock my friend. For someone who says they don't always know the right thing to say, I promise you that your actions speak louder than words. Your caring heart is all that matters.

Onto today! So you know the amazingly talented Jenn of Ruffled Sunshine, right?

If you don't, what's wrong with you?

Kidding, really, but her little shop is stocked full of the cutest stuff. From bags to dresses, wreaths to necklaces, you are guaranteed to find something lovely at Ruffled Sunshine. And even better? Jenn's heart is humongous and her family is one of the sweetest I know. She always has a smile on her face, has faced some pretty difficult challenges with grace, and makes the world a better place, plain and simple. I'm thrilled that she was willing to offer some of her treasures up for me. Thanks Jenn!

Are you ready for this?

Jenn is offering not one but TWO of her handcrafted pieces and both of them make me swoon. That bag is perfection and that dress? Seriously. If I had a little one, I would scoop this up in a heartbeat. The dress is made as a 3T and is perfect for any little girl this summer. One of Jenn's talents lies in how she pieces things together and that combination of fabrics had me at hello. Baby shower gift? Something for your niece? Daughter? Neighbor? Bid for this awesome pair of lovies from Ruffled Sunshine and wait for your happy mail to arrive.

Isn't it darling?

I can think of one little girl who would wear this dress happily.

Meet Clara.

This sweet little pumpkin was diagnosed with a high-risk stage 4 neuroblastoma just over two weeks ago. Since then, she has moved into a hospital suite with her mama two hours from home where her three brothers and sister are missing her terribly. She has proven to be the sweetest patient around, routinely thanking her nurses and doctors after every procedure. Her family's spirit and faith have been astounding and they are fighting with everything they have for Clara's recovery. Her mother wrote me this:

It’s only been two weeks since the E.R. doctor soberly shared the news that my 2 year old daughter, Clara, had high-risk stage 4 neuroblastoma. Before that moment I was clueless about this childhood cancer affecting 600+ children every year. Now, only two weeks later I know about radiation, chemotherapy, and a slew of other medical jargon that has become a part of our life as we journey on the road to curing Clara of the beast that is threatening her life.

When you are given this kind of news, life comes to a halt. In an instant everything that mattered yesterday is trivial. Your time and energy is focused on battling a vicious disease. With a cancer like neuroblastoma there is no preparation or prevention. But, there is hope and miracles. My faith and doctors remind me of this daily. Some of those miracles are because of the research and advancements in medicine that weren’t around 15-20 years ago. The hope is strengthened when a 2 year old little girl who should be dancing and playing is instead fighting the battle of her life with fortitude.

We look forward to the day when Clara will be back home playing and laughing with her 4 siblings. Until then we will be by her side comforting and loving her while her little body is treated and cured of the cancer that invaded her body uninvited. There is hope!

You better believe it, Natasha, there is hope! And while we're all hoping and praying, we're trying to find a cure so no more little Clara's will have to fight this fight. Your donation helps end cancer, plain and simple.

Join me? For sweet Clara and her family.

Remember, bidding starts at $10 and will end at 9 pm tonight. Spread the word and as always, thanks for your generosity
